Ministries

A philosophy of ministry describes the “what” and “why” of ministry stated in principle form.  The philosophy of ministry of PCC describes an intentional strategy for the development of the people who make up Pinebrooke Community Church.  The purpose of God for the church, individually and collectively, is that we would glorify God in and through our lives (Isaiah 43:7).

Our goal as a church is to help you discover the unique purpose for which God created you.  As a part of that discovery process, our commitment is …

To love and accept you just as you are; right where you are, for what you are.  Our love for you is unconditional, and we want to surround you with a sense of acceptance and belonging.  Jesus loves us where we are and places us in community for these purposes (John 3:16; chapters 8-11).

To mend and reconcile you from experiences of hurt, distortion, fear, bondage, or imbalance in the way you think, feel, act, or choose to live.  Jesus loves us where we area and in loving us He places us on a path which will take us, over time, to where he desires us to be (Isaiah 61:1; Romans 8:29).

To train and instruct you in the many ways God thinks, feels, and moves as revealed to us in the Bible, so that you are better able to know God and develop a life consistent with what He has taught (Jeremiah 9:23,24; Colossians 2:7).

To help you fulfill God’s plan for your life in light of His general purpose which is to establish His kingdom on earth. The whole family of God is benefited when each part fulfills its particular role (2 Corinthians 5:18; Colossians 12:7).

Our commitment to you is a joyful privilege we carry from the holy and compassionate heart of Father God.

Women's Ministry

Our Women's Ministry offers opportunities for women to connect through encouragement, support, and service. Our schedule is built around the four seasons and an appropriate event for each season, including an annual fall retreat.

Men's Ministry

Our Men's ministry offers the men of Pinebrooke Community Church the opportunity to be challenged, build friendships, and develop God-honoring leadership abilities.  Our schedule is built around a monthly breakfast and an annual retreat.

Children's Ministry

The children at Pinebrooke are both a gift and an assignment from God (Psalms 127:3).  We view our primary task to be loving kids and passing on our spiritual heritage.  We seek to use all our creativity and passion to help our kids learn.

Youth Ministry

The focus of the ministry includes one-on-one mentoring, group Bible discussions, and community-building events.

Worship Ministry

Our approach is a blending of contemporary music and ancient liturgy in our worship of God.

House Church/Small Groups

We believe there is a biblical precedent for the church to gather in smaller groups for interacting with the Scriptures (apostle's teaching), sharing from our daily lives and our common life in Christ (fellowship), eating together and celebrating Communion (breaking bread), and singing and praying (prayer) Acts 2:42.
